Milton’s ‘Paradise Lost’, written during the last stage of his life and being one of the poet’s greatest creations, covers the ideas of humanism most deeply and widely. Since the admiration and significance of antiquity are ones of the essential concepts of humanism, it appears that this ideology is revealed in ‘Paradise Lost’ by. Milton’s paternal grandfather, Richard, was a staunch Roman Catholic who expelled his son John, the poet’s father, from the family home in Oxfordshire for reading an English (i.e., Protestant) ed and disinherited, Milton’s father established in London a business as a scrivener, preparing documents for legal transactions.   John Milton (Born December 9, – died November 8, ) was an English poet of the late Renaissance period. He is most noted for his epic poem on the fall of Satan and Adam and Eve’s ejection from the Garden of Eden, Paradise Lost, which he composed after having gone studied at Cambridge University and was proficient in Latin, Greek, and Italian. John Milton () is a religious person and a god fearing man. He is also a great writer who wrote in a grand style. As a god fearing man, Milton writes his Paradise Lost, on the basis of religion, Bible and as a great writer he advances his writing in a classical manner.
